Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Many events in our lives are unplanned and unexpected, but that does not mean we have to be unprepared. Tippah County Hospital ER is equipped to treat all ages with a wide range of medical conditions by physicians and nurses certified in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, and Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum. A triage nurse evaluates the condition of all patients who enter the Emergency Department in order to treat the most seriously ill patients first. However, all patients are seen in a timely manner. If a patient's condition can be diagnosed and treated in the Emergency Department, our emergency physicians will provide the needed care. Tippah County Hospital ER is proud to be a Level IV Trauma Center and Level III Stroke Center. Patients requiring further treatment may be admitted or stabilized and transferred to a higher level of care. At Tippah County Hospital we realize that patients and families want their needs taken care of as quickly as possible, that's why we offer excellent, efficient care for the area.
