He completed his medical school from Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen with honors. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Cardiology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
Vivek did his internship, residency and chief residency at the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta. He received the Resident of the Year Award during residency.
He is extremely passionate about teaching medical students and residents. His research focus includes anti-arrhythmics, ventricular tachycardia ablation, endothelial dysfunction and vascular interventions.
